Week 27!

We are getting closer to our banana split party!

 Our reading buddies from Saint John Paul II Hight School came for a visit.

 We got a chance to visit the grade 4 Waste Fair to learn from our peers about how we deal with waste in our world.

 We also got a chance to start on a watercolour painting in art.  

 You'll have to wait until after scoring break to see the finished product.

Thank you to everyone who attended the three way conferences to discuss their child's progress in grade two.

I hope everyone enjoys a restful and enjoyable spring break.  See you on Monday, April 3rd.

March Star Students!

Week 26!

It is hard to believe the it is time for the final hot lunch form of the year.  Your child brought home this letter last week.

 In health we talked about the four food groups and sorted foods into each group.  

 We also identified several sometimes treats.

 In science we experimented with thermometers.

 

 Another banana split was earned this week!

We have now all earned our bowl and our banana as a class.

The night before St. Patrick's Day we built our leprechaun traps.

 Each leprechaun trap was unique and creative.

 Before we went home we put up our sign for the custodian.

The next morning we found a disaster in the classroom!

 Even our book boxes had been mixed up.

 We worked very hard to put the classroom back together after a visit from the leprechaun!

 Happy St.  Patrick's Day from 2H!

 In art we made shamrock crafts to show the Holy Trinity.
