Monday was Groundhog Day so we celebrated by learning all about Groundhogs and Groundhog Day. Each student created a poster with information they wanted to share with others.
Exciting news! We got six brand new Chromebooks for the exclusive use of our classroom. We are piloting a program for the school to help decide the best educational use of the technology available in our school.
We also drew some amazing groundhogs in art.
We learned several new math games that helped us practice adding and subtracting with large numbers up to 100.
We earned our sprinkles this week! We are so close now, just a cherry and spoon to go.
We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, February 13th. We will be working on Valentine's Day activities throughout the day. Students will be given the opportunity to exchange valentines in the afternoon. A class list of names was sent home in the student agenda.
