Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don’t give only your care, but give your heart as well –Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Week 23!

We celebrated Tripp as our Star Student this week!
On February 26th we celebrated Pink Shirt Day and showed our support for being kind and loving to everyone...
then we got a little silly!
We had a few indoor recesses again this week due to the cold weather and some students demonstrated their engineering skills.

We earned our cherries for our banana split.  We only have the spoon to earn in the coming week and we can enjoy our delicious banana splits!
We finished our Sochi Olympic Canadian athlete research projects and displayed them for others to enjoy.
We worked very hard on the computer to find all our information.
Some students researched Canadian figure skaters,
 some chose curlers,
 some chose hockey players,
 some chose downhill skiers
 and some chose cross-country skiers.
In science we explored temperatures throughout the school.
We made great progress on our igloo this week!  New crews of students went to help build our igloo.
