Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don’t give only your care, but give your heart as well –Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Week 15!

Congratulations to Matthew for earning another Lexia certificate and winning a book prize from Mrs.  Scott.
We lit our third candle, the candle of joy this week.  The students have brought home their Advent wreaths and can light the four candle, the candle of love next week and finally they can light the Christ candle on Christmas Day.
We made beautiful Nativities to share with our families.
Christmas concert week is always a busy and exciting one.

Miss Sebastianelli surprised the students on concert night.
Finally, it was time for the evening performance.

We got a wonderful surprise on Thursday morning when a package was delivered to our class from the North Pole.  Inside was a letter for each student in response to the letter they wrote to Santa.
We made Christmas cards for our families.

These boys worked very hard to put together this puzzle of the Christmas story.  They displayed great tema work and co-operation!
We also finished our posters Christmas posters and took them home to share.
I shared my favourite Christmas story "The Crippled Lamb".

We finished off the week with some Christmas carolling in the gym with the whole school.
I forgot to hand out the door hangers to remind everyone to collect their empty cans and bottles over the festive season to bring to our school bottle drive in January.  The details are below.
Thank you to everyone for their generosity and kindness this Christmas season.  I am truly blessed.
I pray that everyone enjoys a blessed Christmas with family and friends.
