Week 5!

We had another grade two friend join our grade 2H family.

Students will bring home their first Growth As A Learner report this week.  At the start of the year we reviewed what we needed to do in grade two to be successful.  The students have reflected on where they feel they fit on the continuum.  I have provided feedback on where I feel they fit on the continuum.  As a family, please discuss ways you can support your child in reaching their goal.

Mrs.  Melnyk came to one of her share favourite stories with us, The Paperbag Princess.

 We had an amazing day at Prairie Garden Farm this week.  

  

  

  

 A big thank you to all the volunteers who came out to make the day so successful!

 We ended the week with a wonderful First Nation, Metis and Inuit presentation.

The students did a great job participating in our Terry Fox Run on Friday.  

October 3-6 is Read In Week.  If you, or you know of someone who would like to come and share a story book with our class please let me know.  Grandmas, grandpas, moms, dads and older siblings are all welcome to come and share their love of reading.
