Week 6!

We celebrated Read In Week with Read To Someone sitting EEKK with our grade 3D friends.

 To celebrate Read In Week, Jaxson's mom, Mrs.  Coombs, came to share a story with us about Newfoundland.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with a beautiful mass at Our Lady of the Angles Church.

October book orders are due on Wednesday, October 12th.

 Please note that I cannot accept cash.  I can accept cheques or you can pay online http://www.scholastic.ca/clubs/parentpay

 Just a reminder that library will be on Mondays this year.  Please help your child remember to return their books.  On weeks that we miss our Monday, we will return our books at the earliest opportunity in the week.

 The weather is turning cold.  Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the chilly weather.

 Moving forward, students who do not complete their classroom activities within the classroom time given will be provided the opportunity to "Ketchup" at other times throughout the day.  Students who do not effectively use the opportunities provided to complete their activities will have their incomplete work sent home at the end of the week to complete.  Please help your child to return their completed work to school at the start of the next work week.  Please be aware that this will only include activities that can be completed at home.  Many class activities require the classroom to be completed therefore it is preferable that students use their class time to complete their activities.  Students who complete their classroom activities within the class time given will be given the opportunity to "Pickle" other ways to grow their brain with activities of their choice.
