Week 9!
Frasier was our star student this week!
 Frasier loves his chicken nuggets and fishing!
Check out this smarty pants!  Another Lexia level achieved in 2H.
 In math Miss Sebastianelli taught us more about counting with money.
Miss Sebastianelli played Number Scoot with us.




 In science we explored keels.  We had to try to get the straw to float standing up.



 In language arts we reviews the sound friend Annie Actress.
 We read this wonderful book full of similes.

On Wednesday the students completed the district mandated Insight tests.
 For art we painted pumpkins.

 Thursday was Pumpkin Day and boy were we busy!
 We weighed pumpkins.
 We read this fiction pumpkin book.
The students worked through their pumpkin exploration books.
 The used adjectives to describe their pumpkins.
 We tested our pumpkins to see if they would float or sink.
 Miss Sebastianelli read us this non-fiction book.  We learned about how pumpkins grow.
 We measured the distance around our pumpkins.



 We even took our pumpkins to gym.






 Then it was time to carve our pumpkins.

 Miss Sebastianelli showed us how to make a pumpkin throw up.
 We did a pumpkin scavenger hunt.  The clues were very tricky!
 Finally it was Halloween!
We read my favourite Halloween book.
Then we made boo glasses.
We finished off a great week with an amzing Halloween parade in the gym.
